Anti-Pinch Function Reset (If Applicable)

Some electric window motors use an anti-pinch safety function. If the window drops after reaching the top, the function may need resetting.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch setting may be lost.
• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to raise the window fully. If it drops slightly after reaching the top, follow the reset steps below.

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to raise the window fully and confirm it remains at the top.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until successful.
