ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (IF APPLICABLE)

If your vehicle uses a window motor with anti-pinch and one-touch function, follow these guidelines after installation:

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may need resetting.
• Install the motor, connect it to the one-touch window switch, and raise the window. It should travel to the top and stop.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
