ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (WHERE APPLICABLE)

Some electric window motors are equipped with an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function. If the window drops after reaching the top, the motor may require resetting.

• Do not power-test the motor before installation, or the anti-pinch function may require reset.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch before testing.
• Pull the switch up and check if the window travels fully to the top without dropping.

Reset procedure (if the window drops after reaching the top):

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top stop.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom stop.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and verify it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
