ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

Some electric window motors are equipped with an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function. Incorrect testing before installation can cause the function to fail and require resetting.

• Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up to raise the window. If it reaches the top and then drops, perform a reset.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves up slightly to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is successful if the window remains at the top without dropping. If it still drops, repeat the steps until the function is correctly set.
