ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

This regulator motor may be equipped with an anti-pinch safety function. Do not operate or test the motor before installation in the door, otherwise the function may require resetting.

• The motors are factory tested and set correctly before dispatch.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up; the window should travel fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it drops again, repeat the above steps until successful.
