ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (IF APPLICABLE)

If the window is equipped with an anti-pinch function and the glass drops after reaching the top, the motor may need to be reset after installation.

• Install the regulator and motor assembly in the door and connect it to the one-touch window switch before testing.
• Pull the switch to raise the window. If the glass goes fully up and stays, no reset is required.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the following reset steps:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until the anti-pinch function is correctly calibrated.
