ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

This regulator motor uses an anti-pinch safety function. Do not power-test the motor before installation in the door, or the function may require resetting.

• Install the regulator and motor in the door and connect to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up; the window should travel fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the glass moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the glass moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window fully to the top.

The reset is successful if the window remains at the top. If it drops again, repeat the steps until the function is correctly set.
