Anti-Pinch Function Reset (Motor)

If used with a motor featuring an anti-pinch function, the system may require resetting after installation.

• Install the motor on the new regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch before testing.
• Check that the window travels fully to the top when the switch is pulled up.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the switch in the up (one-touch) position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the switch in the down (one-touch) position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window up to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
