ANTI-PINCH MOTOR SETUP (GENERAL GUIDANCE)

If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch type window motor, it may require a reset after installation of the regulator. A typical reset process can include:

• With the motor installed in the door, raise the window fully using the switch.
• Hold the one-touch up position for several seconds at the top.
• Lower the window fully and hold the switch in the down position for several seconds at the bottom.
• Raise the window again and confirm it no longer drops after reaching the top.

Always follow the specific reset and safety procedures in the vehicle manufacturer’s workshop manual.
