ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (MOTORS)

If your vehicle uses an electric motor with an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, the motor may require resetting after installation of the regulator or motor.

• Do not test the motor before it is fully installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail and require reset.
• Install the motor, connect it to the one-touch window switch and raise the window. If the glass goes up then drops slightly, reset is required.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window back to the top and confirm it no longer drops down.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
