ANTI-PINCH MOTOR RESET NOTE

This regulator is compatible with electric window motors that may feature an anti-pinch (one-touch) function. If the window drops after reaching the top, the anti-pinch function may require resetting.

ANTI-PINCH RESET INSTRUCTIONS

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.
• The motors are typically tested and set correctly before delivery.
• Install the motor and connect it with the one-touch window switch. Pull up the switch; the window should go fully up.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, follow the reset steps below.

Reset steps:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window does not drop after reaching the top. If it still drops, repeat the above steps until successful.
