Anti-Pinch Motor Setup Notice
This regulator is designed for use with compatible electric motors, including those with anti-pinch (one-touch) function. Incorrect testing of the motor before installation can cause the anti-pinch function to fail and require resetting.
Anti-Pinch Reset Procedure (For Motors With One-Touch)
- Install the motor on the regulator and fit the assembly into the door.
- Connect the wiring to the one-touch window switch.
- Operate the switch and confirm that the window travels fully to the top.
- If the window drops down after reaching the top, follow the reset steps below.
- Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the glass moves slightly up to the top position.
- Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
- Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the glass moves slightly down to the bottom.
- Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
- Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and confirm it no longer drops.
If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until the anti-pinch function operates correctly.
