ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION NOTE (MOTORS)

If used with a window motor incorporating an anti-pinch function, correct setup is critical. Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, as this may cause the anti-pinch function to fail and require resetting.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds when the window is at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to raise the window fully to the top.

The reset is successful if the window remains at the top without dropping. If it drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until correct operation is restored.
