ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION – RESET GUIDE (FOR MOTORS)

If used with a motor featuring an anti-pinch function, the motor must be correctly set in the door before testing. Incorrect testing can cause the anti-pinch function to fail and require reset.

• Install the motor to the regulator in the door and connect to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull up the switch: if the window travels fully to the top and stays there, setup is correct.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up at the top position for 3–5 seconds.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down at the bottom position for 3–5 seconds.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top.

The reset is complete if the window no longer drops after reaching the top. If it still drops, repeat the steps until successful.
