ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION NOTE (FOR MOTORS)

If this regulator is used with a motor featuring an anti-pinch function, correct setup is essential for proper one-touch window operation.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may require resetting.
• Install the motor, connect it to the one-touch window switch, and check that the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, follow the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to raise the window slightly to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and verify that it no longer drops down.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
