PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Goss Oxygen Sensor OX431 is a direct replacement exhaust lambda (O2) sensor designed to monitor oxygen content in exhaust gases and help maintain the correct air/fuel ratio for efficient engine performance.
KEY FEATURES
- Continuous monitoring of exhaust oxygen levels for accurate fuel control
- Helps optimise engine efficiency, emissions and drivability
- OEM-style fitment for reliable installation and operation
- Engineered as a high-quality replacement O2 / lambda sensor
FUNCTION
The oxygen sensor feeds exhaust oxygen data to the engine control unit (ECU), allowing it to adjust fuel delivery and maintain the ideal air/fuel ratio. A correctly functioning sensor supports maximum performance, fuel economy and reduced emissions.
WHEN TO REPLACE
- Illuminated check engine light with oxygen sensor-related fault codes
- Noticeable increase in fuel consumption
- Poor idle quality, hesitation or reduced performance
- Failed or marginal emissions test results
DIAGNOSTIC TIP
Before replacement, the suspect sensor can be tested with a multimeter or scan tool to confirm correct voltage, response time and signal behaviour. Replacing a faulty sensor restores accurate ECU feedback and stable engine operation.
