Installation and Usage

Installation involves removing the factory air box and intake ducting, fitting the carbon assembly and filter, and reconnecting the airflow sensor and breather lines. Take care not to scratch the carbon surfaces during fitting. Because the Type R engine management is sensitive to airflow readings, we recommend installation by a qualified Honda or performance specialist. Check for warning lights and leaks afterwards and service the filter regularly.
