Hyundai Kia 1.4–1.6L Nickel Spark Plug 18855-10060

Product overview

This nickel spark plug is referenced to Hyundai/Kia OE number 18855-10060 and is listed as suited to 1.4 to 1.6 litre petrol engines. It is a new replacement plug for routine servicing or for curing misfires, poor fuel economy and hard starting caused by worn plugs.

Vehicle compatibility

The listed fitment table includes 100 rows covering Hyundai, Beijing Hyundai and Dongfeng Kia vehicles. Examples include the Hyundai ix20 2010–2015, Eon 2011–2018, i30 2014–2017, i30 N 2017–2020, Accent 2014–2019 and Veracruz 2006–2013, along with Sonata and ix35 entries. Some of these, such as the i30 N, Veracruz and ix35 Fuel Cell, do not use 1.4–1.6 litre petrol engines, and the attributes also mention a 1.8 engine, so the list should be treated as indicative only.

Installation requirements

Change plugs with the engine cold. Remove the coils, clear dirt from the plug wells with compressed air, and start each plug by hand before tightening to the specified torque. Verify the gap against your service specification. Nickel plugs generally have shorter service intervals than platinum or iridium types, so check your maintenance schedule.

Fitment checks before ordering

Hyundai and Kia used several different plug types across these engines. Check the number in your service book or on your old plugs, and confirm by engine code or VIN before ordering. Contact us with your engine details if you would like us to double-check the match.

Package inclusions

1 x spark plug per unit ordered. A four-cylinder engine needs four.
