King Springs Rear Coil Springs Standard Height KTRS-70

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

King Springs KTRS-70 standard height rear coil springs are designed as high-quality OE replacement springs, maintaining original ride height while improving handling and comfort.

KEY FEATURES & BENEFITS

  • Standard height rear coil springs engineered as direct OE replacements.
  • Manufactured from high-grade, high-stress X5K spring steel for optimal strength.
  • Up to 30% lighter than conventional springs while maintaining durability and comfort.
  • Increased suspension travel for enhanced ride comfort.
  • Improves handling, responsiveness and steering stability.
  • Maintains front ride height at standard and keeps rear ride height between standard and approximately 20 mm raised, depending on application.
  • Some part numbers in the range available in heavy duty variants for towing and load-carrying requirements (check specific application).

APPLICATION NOTES

On many 4WD and Ford "F" series applications, standard height King Springs may raise vehicle ride height by approximately 10–20 mm. Actual height change will vary by vehicle and existing suspension condition.

IS THIS SPRING RIGHT FOR YOUR VEHICLE?

This KTRS-70 rear spring set is suited to drivers wanting a straightforward replacement that preserves factory ride height characteristics while improving stability and control. It is ideal where you want to:

  • Replace worn or sagging OE rear coil springs.
  • Maintain close-to-factory ride height and comfort.
  • Gain sharper handling without sacrificing everyday drivability.
  • Retain existing OE shock absorbers and struts, provided they are in good condition.

Always confirm compatibility for your specific vehicle before purchase and installation.

INSTALLATION & BEST PRACTICE

When replacing coil springs, it is recommended to inspect the entire suspension and steering system to ensure other wear items do not compromise performance.

  • Check shock absorbers, struts, mounts and bushings for wear or leakage.
  • Inspect control arms, ball joints and steering components.
  • Consider pairing with quality shock absorbers for optimal ride and handling.
  • Have a wheel alignment carried out after installation where applicable.

PACKAGE CONTENTS

  • 1 x rear axle set of King Springs coil springs (2 springs) – Part Number: KTRS-70.
