ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, do not test the motor before installing it in the door, or the anti-pinch setting may be lost and require resetting.

• The motors are tested and preset before dispatch.
• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull up the switch; the window should travel fully up and stay at the top.
• If the window drops slightly after reaching the top, the anti-pinch function must be reset.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window fully up.

The reset is complete if the window does not drop after reaching the top. If it still drops, repeat the above steps until successful.
