WINDOW REGULATOR ANTI-PINCH RESET (IF APPLICABLE)

If your vehicle is equipped with a window regulator motor with anti-pinch function and it loses its one-touch operation after work on the door, you may need to reset the anti-pinch function as follows:

• Do not test the window motor before it is fully installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch. Pull up the switch; the window should go up fully.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform the reset steps below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

If the window no longer drops after reaching the top, the reset is complete. If it still drops, repeat the procedure.
