ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

If the vehicle uses an anti-pinch (one-touch) window function, do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, as this can cause the anti-pinch to fail and require resetting.

• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to raise the window; it should travel fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window fully to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it drops again after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the function operates correctly.
