Anti-Pinch Motor Setup (General Guide)

If using this regulator with an electric motor featuring anti-pinch and one-touch functions, correct setup of the motor is essential for proper operation.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may require resetting.
• Install the motor onto the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to confirm the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform a reset of the anti-pinch function.

General reset procedure:

• Step 1: Briefly pull the window switch to move the glass slightly up to the top stop.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Briefly press the window switch to move the glass slightly down to the bottom stop.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Use the one-touch up function and confirm the window remains at the top.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the function is correctly learned.
