ANTI-PINCH MOTOR RESET NOTE

For vehicles using a window motor with anti-pinch function, follow the reset procedure if the window does not stay at the top after installation.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may require resetting.
• Install the motor on the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to raise the window fully. If the glass drops after reaching the top, carry out the reset steps below.

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch so the window travels fully to the top.

The reset is complete if the window no longer drops after reaching the top. If it still drops, repeat the procedure until successful.
