ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (IF APPLICABLE)
Some vehicles use an anti-pinch (one-touch) function with the window motor. If this function does not operate correctly after installation, follow the reset steps below:
- Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may need to be reset.
- Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch, then raise the window fully to check operation.
Reset procedure:
- Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
- Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
- Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
- Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
- Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up and confirm it no longer drops back down.
If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
INSTALLATION & NOTES
- Professional installation by a qualified automotive technician is recommended.
- Compare the plug type, mounting points and orientation with your original motor before fitting.
- Images are for reference; colour or minor casting details may differ slightly from your original part.
