ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

Some window regulator motors are equipped with an anti-pinch safety function and one-touch operation. Incorrect testing or installation can cause this function to lose calibration.

• Do not power-test the motor before installation in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail.
• Install the motor to the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to confirm the window travels fully up and down.

Reset procedure (if the window drops after reaching the top):

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch calibration is successful.
