ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

This motor may be used with window regulators featuring an anti-pinch safety function. Incorrect initial testing can cause the function to fail and require reset.

• Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the motor to the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull up the switch and check that the window goes fully to the top.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds when the window is at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds when the window is at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still goes down after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
