Anti-Pinch Function Setup (If Applicable)

Some electric window motors include an anti-pinch safety function. Incorrect testing or installation can cause this function to fail and require resetting. Do not operate the motor before it is installed in the door.

Reset Procedure (General Guide)

• Install the regulator and motor and connect to the one-touch window switch.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform the following reset steps:
• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set. This procedure is a general guide and does not replace the vehicle manufacturer’s service instructions.
