ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION NOTE

For vehicles equipped with a window regulator motor featuring an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, the motor may require resetting if the window drops after reaching the top position.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Do not test the motor before it is fully installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch, then operate the window up to confirm correct function.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform the reset steps below.

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it still drops, repeat the procedure until successful.
