Anti-Pinch Function Reset (Where Applicable)

If used with a window regulator motor that has an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, do not test the motor before it is installed in the door. If the window drops after reaching the top, reset the anti-pinch function as follows:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window fully up.

The reset is complete if the window no longer drops after reaching the top. If it still drops, repeat the above steps.
