ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION NOTICE

If used with a window regulator motor featuring an anti-pinch function, the motor must be correctly set up after installation.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail.
• Motors are pre-tested and set before dispatch, but may require resetting after installation.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch. Pull the switch up; the window should travel fully up.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top and check that it no longer drops down.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the function operates correctly.
