Product Overview
Made from 304-grade stainless steel, this downpipe suits the McLaren 720S and 765LT with the M840T 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8. It takes the place of the factory exhaust section that follows the turbochargers, reducing restriction for owners running modified, tuned supercars, particularly those used at track days and motorsport events. Stainless steel is well suited to the extreme heat these engines generate.

Installation and Usage
Access on a mid-engined supercar is tight, and the work involves removing heat shielding, relocating sensors and sealing joints at the turbochargers. A recalibration of the engine is usually needed after a downpipe change. Only a specialist workshop experienced with McLaren or similar vehicles should carry out installation, followed by leak and sensor checks and a careful road test.
Package Contents
Downpipe as pictured. The supplier has not confirmed whether a pair is supplied, or whether gaskets, clamps, sensor fittings or catalytic converter sections are included; other contents not confirmed.
Important Fitment Notice
Downpipes of this type are generally intended for motorsport use. Removing or altering emissions equipment may stop a road car from passing WoF in New Zealand, and noise limits apply as well. Check local requirements before purchase, and send us your VIN or chassis number so we can help confirm fitment before you order.
