It suits a wide range of petrol engines, from the four-cylinder E 200 Kompressor through to the CLS 55 AMG, and is designed to restore correct fuel delivery where the existing pump has failed or weakened.

Located in the fuel tank, the pump supplies petrol to the engine at steady pressure. Worn pumps commonly cause a whine from the rear, long cranking, hesitation under acceleration or the engine stalling at idle.
