ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (FOR MOTORS)

If used with a window motor that has an anti-pinch function, the motor may require reset after installation. Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.

• The motors are typically tested and set correctly before delivery.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up and check that the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch so the window travels fully to the top.

The reset is complete if the window no longer drops after reaching the top. If it still drops, repeat the above steps until successful.
