ANTI-PINCH MOTOR RESET INFORMATION

This regulator is supplied without a motor. If you are using a motor with anti-pinch (one-touch) function, the anti-pinch feature may need to be reset after installation.

ANTI-PINCH SETUP NOTES

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.
• Install the motor on the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull up the switch to raise the window; it should go fully to the top.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, the anti-pinch function must be reset.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check that it no longer drops down.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the reset is successful.
