ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (MOTOR WITH ANTI-PINCH)

If used with a window motor that has an anti-pinch function, the motor may require resetting after installation. Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may fail and need to be reset.

RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass up slightly to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check that it no longer drops back down.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
