ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION – IMPORTANT NOTICE

This regulator is designed to work with electric motors that may include an anti-pinch function. Incorrect testing of the motor can cause the anti-pinch function to fail and require resetting.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the motor on the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull up the switch: if the window goes up fully and stays up, the setting is correct.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, the anti-pinch function must be reset.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window up to the top and check that it no longer drops down.

If the window still goes down after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the function is restored.
