ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

This regulator motor may be equipped with an anti-pinch (one-touch) function. Do not power-test the motor before installation, as this can affect the anti-pinch setting.

• Install the motor and regulator in the door and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to raise the window fully. If the glass drops after reaching the top, the anti-pinch function must be reset.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window to the top and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the setting is successful.
