ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, the motor must be installed and initialised correctly. Do not test the motor before it is mounted in the door, as this can cause the anti-pinch function to lose its setting.

RESET PROCEDURE (SUMMARY)

• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Raise the window fully. If it drops after reaching the top, a reset is required.
• With the glass at the top, pull and hold the switch for 3–5 seconds.
• Lower the glass fully, then press and hold the switch down for 3–5 seconds.
• Raise the window again to confirm it reaches and stays at the top.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly initialised.
