ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (IF APPLICABLE)

Some electric window motors include an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function. Incorrect testing before installation can cause this function to fail and require resetting.

• Install the regulator and motor in the door before testing.
• Connect to the one-touch window switch and raise the window fully.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, reset the anti-pinch function as below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds.
• Step 5: Use the one-touch function to move the window fully up.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it drops again, repeat the procedure.
