ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

This regulator motor may use an anti-pinch (one-touch) function. Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, as this may cause the anti-pinch function to fail and require resetting.

• Motors are tested and preset before dispatch.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull up the switch; the window should rise fully and remain at the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top and no longer drops. If it still drops, repeat the steps until successful.
