ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (IF APPLICABLE)

Some electric window motors include an anti-pinch safety function. If the window drops down after reaching the top position, the function may need to be reset after installation.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the window fully up; if it drops back down, perform the reset steps below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until successful.
