Anti-Pinch Function Reset (Where Applicable)
If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch one-touch window function, follow these steps after installation if the window drops down after reaching the top:
- Install the motor in the door and connect it to the one-touch window switch before testing.
- Pull the switch to raise the window. If it drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.
Reset procedure:
- Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
- Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
- Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom position.
- Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
- Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up and confirm it no longer drops.
If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the function is correctly set.
Installation & Warranty Notes
- Part intended for repair and replacement of an existing window regulator assembly.
- Installation by a qualified automotive mechanic is strongly recommended to maintain warranty.
- Some window regulators and motors may be fitted with tamper-evident seals on plugs and housings; do not remove these seals as this may affect return or warranty eligibility.
- Colour and finish may vary slightly from images due to screen settings and lighting.
- Always compare the product photos and connector type with your original part before ordering.
