Anti-Pinch Function Setup (If Applicable)

If your vehicle is equipped with an anti-pinch window system, follow these guidelines when installing regulators with motors:

• Do not power-test the motor before installation in the door, as the anti-pinch function may require resetting.
• Motors are pre-tested and set before dispatch.
• After installation, connect to the one-touch window switch and check that the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, reset the anti-pinch function using the procedure below.

Anti-Pinch Reset Procedure

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top and check operation.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until normal operation is restored.
