ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (WHERE APPLICABLE)

If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch function for the electric window motor, the following procedure may be required after installation:

• Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door, as this can disturb the anti-pinch setting.
• The motors are pre-tested and set before dispatch.
• Install the motor, connect it to the one-touch window switch, and operate the switch to confirm the window travels fully upward.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, follow the reset steps below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET STEPS

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top and does not drop. If it drops again, repeat the above steps until the setting is successfully stored.
