ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (MOTOR NOT INCLUDED)

If used with a motor that has an anti-pinch and one-touch function, correct initialization is required after installation.

• Install the motor on the regulator and mount the assembly in the door before testing.
• Connect the one-touch window switch and operate the window to the full up position.
• If the glass reaches the top and then drops slightly, reset of the anti-pinch function is required.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves up slightly to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top without dropping. If it drops again, repeat the procedure.
