Anti-Pinch Function Setup

This regulator motor may be equipped with an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function. Incorrect testing prior to installation can cause the function to fail and require resetting.

• Do not power or test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch to raise the window fully and check operation.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, reset the anti-pinch function.

Anti-Pinch Reset Procedure

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and verify the glass remains in position.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top and does not drop. If it still drops, repeat the procedure until successful.
