ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (IF APPLICABLE)
If the vehicle uses an anti-pinch function with one-touch window operation, follow these guidelines after installation:
- Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may need to be reset.
- Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
- Pull up the switch and confirm the window travels fully to the top.
- If the window returns or drops after reaching the top, perform a reset.
Reset procedure (general guide):
- Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the top position.
- Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
- Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the window fully to the bottom position.
- Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
- Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window back to the top and verify it no longer drops.
If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly calibrated.
