Anti-Pinch Function Setup (If Applicable)
If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch function with one-touch window operation, follow these guidelines when installing the motor:
- Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door, as anti-pinch settings may be lost.
- Install the regulator fully and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
- Operate the switch to confirm the window travels smoothly to the top.
- If the window drops after reaching the top, perform a reset.
Reset procedure (general guide):
- Step 1: Pull the window switch so the glass moves fully to the top.
- Step 2: Hold the switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
- Step 3: Press the switch so the glass moves fully to the bottom.
- Step 4: Hold the switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
- Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window to the top and check that it no longer drops.
If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the function is correctly learned.
