ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP
If the vehicle is equipped with an anti-pinch function, the motor must be correctly set after installation. Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, as this can cause the anti-pinch function to fail and require reset.
- Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
- Operate the switch to raise the window fully. If the glass drops after reaching the top, the anti-pinch function must be reset.
ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE
- Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
- Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
- Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
- Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
- Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.
The reset is complete if the window remains at the top without dropping. If it drops again, repeat the procedure until successful.
